The virtual world from Ready Player One already exists, it’s just that our level of immersion is not quite there yet. We are already living most of our lives on the internet, always online either at work or home, this connectedness is changing the way we operate and coordinate as a society.

In 2009 there was the creation of a source of value that is completely digital and exists on the internet. This creation is bitcoin and it spawned new technologies that are allowing the secure ownership of scarce digital assets.
