This is my newsletter subscriber growth from October 2019 to now, starting almost exactly one year ago. As you can tell, interest in NFTs is going parabolic. I thought now would be a great time to write an overview of a few categories in the NFT ecosystem. It would be possible to fit all NFT-related projects into a single blog, so please do not be offended if I didn’t mention your project!
The true tipping point is with all projects moving NFTs from "static"- where they are now, to "dynamic"--- which to me isn't just referring to added features but making NFT-centric products that really work for the masses. Easy to use, viral in structure, disrupting "old" spaces.
What a great resource 🙏 I also have this list on Twitter where I keep track of my fav crypto*art accounts: https://twitter.com/i/lists/1280255313543942145?s=20
Hi Andrew! Thank you for this very informative survey of the NFT ecosystem. I've been making short digital art pieces for a long time, and have also thought about how these could be connected to the blockchain for several years. It's gratifying and shocking to see how things have developed way beyond my expectations. Wow!
I just put up my first NFT on Rarible, but am going to go through your article in more depth and see what fits best for me.
I'm particularly interested in how to connect digital valuation to real world art because not only am I a digital artist, but I am a 'traditional' painter, sculptor and also have a brick and mortar gallery in San Francisco.
